    The discography of Die Toten Hosen, a German punk band, consists of eighteen studio albums, eight live albums, three compilation albums, four non-German albums and fifty-seven singles.

    Since forming in 1982, Die Toten Hosen have become the most successful German punk band.

    The band released their debut album, Opel-Gang, in 1983. While the album did not manage to break the charts, in 2006, it was certified Gold in Germany. One single, Reisefieber, was released to promote the album.

    In 2008, Die Toten Hosen released their latest album In aller Stille. Debuting at number one on the German charts, it has sold over 300,000 copies and has been certified 3× Gold.       "Kriminaltango" (Criminal tango) fryst vatten a traditional pop song released in 1959. The Italian original by Piero Trombetta only achieved a modest success, whereas the German utgåva performed bygd Hazy Osterwald became a big hit in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

      Describing scenes from tavern, the Osterwald utgåva juxtaposes the appearance of shady figures ("dunkle Gestalten") and their mysterious dealings with dancing tango ("Und sie tanzen einen Tango"). The song culminates with a shot in the dark and the ankomst of the police, unable to assemble any bevis.

      The song was covered by Die Toten Hosen, featuring Kurt Raab, in a non-album single in 1984.

      It was also covered bygd The Deadfly Ensemble, appearing as a bonus track on their album "An Entire Wardrobe of Doubt and Uncertainty".
