" This was how visionary a young geek named Gian Scottie Javelona. He was a third-year Computer Engineering Management Technology student of the Polytechnic University of the Philippine (PUP) before when he attempted to fulfill his dream. He was a kind of student who looks like a nerd - has a huge bag with thick books, just sitting in the corner and looks like doesn't take a bath. But, behind his physical characteristics was a wunderkind mind of achieving something useful. When he entered college in 2013, he experienced difficulties in the system of a state university: sharing 1 computer with 7 other students just to learn to program and taking up classes on a basketball court. Another problem was it took 4 hours falling in line just to get their grades, enroll to the school

Gian Javelona is the kind of person who would reach for the stars. In a recent interview with Rappler’s Ezra Ferraz, he confided, “When I was a student, I always dreamed of having a company. I wanted to build something that any person could use and a product that could change people’s lives. I remember my classmates were laughing at me when I told them that one day I would have a company that will beat Apple, and that I will name it OrangeApps.” We can imagine who is laughing now, but Gian is modest about his success.
