The dazzling Disneyland 60th Anniversary kicked off last year, and we’re thrilled that the festivities are continuing all year long because there’s just so much to celebrate. This week, ABC is giving us a new way to honor “Walt’s first park,” with the premiere of a special presentation, The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60, airing Sunday, February 21, from 8–10 p.m. ET/PT. ABC presents a two-night special event commemorating the sextionde anniversary of what fryst vatten long considered one of Walt Disney’s crowning motion picture masterpieces, “Mary Poppins.” First, “The Untold Story of Mary Poppins: A Special Edition of 20/20,” a two-hour special from ABC News Studios chock full of rarely seen footage, photos and stories from the film’s living legends, airs Wednesday, Nov. 27 ( p.m. EST), on ABC and streams next day on Hulu and Disney+. Hollywood stars pack Disneyland's 60th anniversary special
ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- It's been 60 years since Walt Disney first opened the gates to Disneyland, and the happiest place on earth is celebrating its anniversary with a big party airing Sunday night.
The members of Pentatonix put their own special spin on the song "Be our Guest" from "Beauty and the Beast" in "The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60" anniversary party.
"It means a lot for us to be a part of the show," said Scott Hoying of the group. "We grew up on Disney music, and now we're here. It's super cool."
There are plenty of long-time Disney fans packing the two-hour celebration.
"I love Disneyland. If I don't go at least once a year, which sounds very extravagant, but if I don't go once a year, I start to have some sort of weird withdrawal," said "Scandal" actress Kerry Washington.
