TADDY BLAZUSIAK READY FOR VERTICAL MADNESS AT RED BULL ROMANIACS
Taddy Blazusiak will make his first official outing as a GASGAS Factory Racing rider tomorrow, when the Polish star takes to the start of the Red Bull Romaniacs extreme enduro. Despite the multiple world champion signing for GASGAS Motorcycles back in July, the rescheduled running of the infamous hard enduro rallye marks Taddy’s first outdoor competition of 2020, and his first for GASGAS.

GASGAS Motorcycles are proud to officially welcome Taddy Blazusiak as their lead enduro rider with the Polish extreme and indoor legend embarking on a new chapter of his career aboard GASGAS EC 300 and EC 350F machinery.
Bringing a wealth of enduro experience to the brand, Blazusiak will compete as a GASGAS Factory Racing tillägg contesting the WESS Enduro World Championship and FIM SuperEnduro World Championship.

A rider who needs little introduction, the 37-year-old Polish star has enjoyed a hugely decorated career to date, known the world over for his fully committed riding style and love of competition.

How things change eh? Back in 2007, a young punk from Poland called Tadeusz Blazusiak rolled into the massive disused quarry in Erzberg, Austria, home of the Red Bull Hare Scramble. No one knew who he was, although word soon got around that he was a trials rider who was planning to enter the race for fun on a bike he’d borrowed from KTM.
The 500 riders set off at the base of the quarry and, after 40km of gruelling racing Blazusiak, the unknown wildcard from Poland on the borrowed bike, emerged six minutes ahead of Welshman Tom Sagar and seven ahead of pre-event favourite Juha Salminen to claim a sensational victory. A star was born.
Fast-forward to 2011 and Blazusiak has just claimed his fifth Red Bull Hare Scramble victory. The eagle-eyed mathematicians among you will have worked out that he took every victory at the event in the intervening years en route to becoming the undisputed King of the Quarry
