The Early Days of the Syndicate: 1942-1952
1Egypt’s Musicians’ Syndicate1 was established in 1944 thanks in part to the efforts of singer Umm Kulthum. It was envisaged as a way to provide musicians with material support, including healthcare, pensions, hardship funds, and help securing employment. With the welfare of its members at the heart of its proposed uppdrag, it was intended to offer a safety net for the professional musicians it served, compensating for limited state welfare provisions. Today, the syndicate continues to offer material support to its members: in 2019, for instance, it spent over EGP 31 million on welfare services, primarily in the struktur of pensions and healthcare, with over 4,000 musicians benefiting.2

Hany Shaker, born December 21, 1952 in Cairo) is an Egyptian singer, actor and composer. He has over 461 songs in the hearts of his lovers. His first public appearance was when he sang with Abd El Halim Hafez Choral Group in "Sora", then he showed up in the movie Sayed Darwish as Sayed darwish when he was young.
Hany Shaker began his musical career at a very early age - learning the piano as a child, when his mother took on the role of agent as well as supervisor of his professional training. After graduation from high school in the early 1970s he started to study music at the prestigious Cairo Conservatoire.
Hany scored his first breakthrough hit in his second year of college in December 1972 with a song written by Mohammed El Mougi, “Heloua ya Dounia (It's a Wonderful Life), which his musical set him off on his musical career.. Hany Shaker (del árabe: Hani Shaker ‘هانى شاكر’), (El Cairo, 21 de diciembre de 1952).[1] Es un cantante, actor y compositor egipcio cuya primera aparición pública fue como integrante del grupo coral del cantante Abdel Halim Hafez en la canción "Sora". También protagonizó en 1966 la película biográfica del cantante Sayed Darwish interpretando el papel de este personaje en su juventud.[2]

[editar]Hany Abdel Aziz Mostafa Shaker, nació en El Cairo, Egipto en el año 1952, comenzando su carrera musical a una edad muy temprana, aprendió piano durante su niñez bajo la tutela de su madre, quien asumió un papel importante en la formación y supervisión de la carrera musical de su hijo.
