GETTING RID OF THE PAIN
She recently shared on social media that she is healing. "Goodbye to organs that gave me three beautiful angels disguised as daughters. It was a major surgery that helps me rid myself of recurring fibroids, endometriosis, uterine prolapse, chronic pelvic pain and heavy menstrual bleeding for months on end," she wrote.
THE OPERATION
Speaking to ZiMoja, Criselda says the operation was hectic and she needed counselling after. "I did a total abdominal hysterectomy. Criselda Kananda is getting real about her life after divorce. The social activist revealed that she legally changed her surname back to her maiden name.

Criselda Kananda on how she survived COVID, divorce, and “lost a lot of money”

has been a difficult year for Criselda Kananda.
The social activist took to Instagram to share the health difficulties she faced this year.
Kananda, who has been battling with HIV for over 20 years, said she started taking her ARVs this year.
“This year I started ARV’s,” she wrote on Instagram.
Last year, Kananda wrote about how COVID had worsened things for those living with HIV.
“Many persons living with HIV, Diabetic and Cancer Survivors including many others who have immuno compromised health, this is a difficult period for us. The constant cleaning of surfaces, sanitizing, disinfecting and covered breathing though very necessary it unfortunately leads to unintended consequences.
